A Week of Restful Retreat
Come away for a rare and nourishing week—quiet, spacious, and deeply restorative. Free from cars and screens, you’ll have the chance to let your nervous system soften and settle, attuning to the wild beauty of Scotland and the steady rhythm of your own soul.
Your journey begins with a train ride from Glasgow, followed by two ferry crossings and a winding passage across the Isle of Mull. At the edge of the world, you’ll arrive on Iona—a small, sacred island graced with white sand beaches, ancient history, and a timeless sense of peace.
Over the Easter holiday week, we will embark on an inner pilgrimage, weaving together meditation, yoga, and moments of quiet reflection with rambling coastal hikes, shared meals of fresh local fare, optional services at the Iona Abbey, swims in the cold, clear sea, and the simple pleasure of unhurried time.
Our days will open gently—morning meditations, long walks across moor and shore, beachcombing, cold plunges, picnic lunches. Afternoons may hold yoga or rest, followed by dinners rich with island flavors, and quiet evenings for contemplation and journaling.
Spring on Iona is a season of tender beauty—fields alive with playful lambs and calves, daffodils and blossoming trees heralding the island’s slow, radiant awakening.
"I felt in need of a great pilgrimage, so I sat still for three days." —Hafiz
